Recommend a friend terms & conditions

  • Offer applicable to new and existing customers where new policies are opened directly with Scottish Friendly and does not include payments into an existing policy.

  • To qualify, the recommended friend must ensure all of the following requirements are fulfilled:

    i. Use the voucher code RECAF when completing the application form on the Scottish Friendly website or mobile app.

    ii. Select either "Make monthly payments" or "Both regular monthly payments and an initial lump-sum payment" when completing the application form. Please note "lump sum only" investments do not qualify.

    iii. Ensure a minimum of 6 regular monthly payments of at least £50 per month are made.

  • The gift will be issued within 28 days of receiving 6 regular qualifying monthly payments from the recommended friend.

  • Offer applicable to qualifying investments made into new policies in our currently promoted range of My Choice adult stocks & Shares ISAs.

  • The recommended friend will be sent 2 x £25 My Rewards vouchers, which can be redeemed at a wide range of retailers throughout the UK.

  • A gift will not be issued if you cancel your Scottish Friendly Policy or the recommended friend cancels their payment after the recommendation.

  • Customers will receive 2 x £25 My Rewards gift vouchers for each qualifying recommendation. 1 for the recommender and 1 for the recommended friend.

  • Gift vouchers will be issued to the recommended individual whose responsibility it is to give the recommender their reward.

  • Multiple recommendations are permitted but will only qualify once per recommended friend.

  • Recommended friend must be aged 18 or over.

  • Scottish Friendly reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time without notice.  No cash alternative will be offered.

  • Scottish Friendly accepts no liability for technical errors or communication failures in networks and/or internet access.

  • Gift codes valid for 12 months from date of issue.

  • Gift vouchers issued are redeemable only with participating retailers listed on our platform at the time of voucher issuance. We make reasonable efforts to maintain an up-to-date list of participating retailers; however, we do not guarantee the continued availability of any specific retailer. In the event that a retailer terminates their relationship with the platform after a gift voucher has been issued, Scottish Friendly are not liable for the inability to redeem the voucher with that retailer. No refunds, replacements, or exchanges will be provided for vouchers rendered unusable due to retailer withdrawal. Customers are encouraged to redeem vouchers promptly to avoid potential changes in retailer availability.
