Making a complaint

At Scottish Friendly, we aim to provide the highest possible standards of customer service at all times. However, if we don't meet your expectations or you're dissatisfied in any way with our service or products, we'd like to know. Senior Independent Director

As a member of Scottish Friendly you're entitled to contact your Senior Independent Director (SID). They're an independent Scottish Friendly board member who is neither a member of the executive or a Chair person. 

If you're a member of Scottish Friendly and have a concern which you feel has not been adequately resolved by us, you may request that your concerns are put before the SID of Scottish Friendly. Upon receipt of your request your concern will be placed before the SID who will respond to your case. Please use our online contact form to request this.

Submit a death claim

We're sorry for your bereavement.

To submit a death claim form, you can download and print the relevant form using the link below to send to us. Full instructions including a checklist are also provided to help you.

Scottish Friendly Life Policies

If the person who has died has a Life policy with Scottish Friendly, you can notify us and make a claim by completing a death claim form.

Scottish Friendly Pension Policies

If the person who has dies has a Pension policy with Scottish Friendly, you can notify us and make a claim by completing a Notification of Bereavement form (pensions).
